Presidents Day Snow Storm

These pictures were taken the weekend of February 15, 16 and 17 when a large snow and ice storm dropped between 12 and 24 inches of snow in the Washington DC area.  We have not seen snow like this since we lived in Iowa!

This is our front yard the morning of February 17.  It almost looks like we are still in Iowa.  I had shoveled about 6 inches of snow the day before and I had about another 10 inches on the driveway this morning.  As you can see I have only shoveled the left half of the driveway.
